Privacy Policy

This policy explains how VantageBit Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us") handles personal data for Nitrakit: this website, the developer portal at app.nitrakit.dev, the documentation, and the Nitrakit SDK. We're the controller of the data described here.
What we collect
When you contact us or fill in the form on our website: your email address, and anything else you choose to give us: name, company, role, app size, platforms and what you're building. We also record the country your request came from (worked out from your IP address; we don't store the address itself). A bot check by Cloudflare Turnstile processes your IP address to stop spam.
When you use the portal:
- your account: email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with GitHub or Google;
- your teams, the apps you register (bundle IDs, package names, signing certificate fingerprints, web origins), your license keys and plan;
- a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie that remembers whether the sidebar is open (no tracking or advertising cookies).
When you buy a plan: Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy notice. We receive your Paddle customer ID, email address, plan and subscription status, never your card details.
When an app uses the SDK: a licensed app checks its license status with our server at most once a day. That request contains the license ID, the app's identifier (bundle ID, package name or web origin) and platform. We use it to answer and don't store anything about the device or the app's users. Video editing in the SDK happens on the device or in the browser; your users' media isn't sent to us.
When you browse our websites: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures performance without cookies and without identifying you.
Why we use it
- to provide the portal, issue license keys and answer license checks (to perform our contract with you);
- to reply to you, onboard your team and send service and billing notices (contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business);
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest);
- to keep records the law requires, such as for tax (legal obligation).
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising. We'll only send you product news if you've asked for it, and every such email lets you opt out.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website, portal and databases, and runs Web Analytics and Turnstile.
- Paddle processes payments and handles invoices, tax and refunds.
- Zoho (ZeptoMail) sends our emails, such as sign-in links and invitations.
- GitHub and Google, only if you choose to sign in with them.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- portal account and team data: while your account is open, and up to 90 days after you delete it;
- contact form submissions: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer;
- billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (Paddle keeps its own records).
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email hello@nitrakit.dev and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell affected users of a breach where the law requires.
Children
The Service is for developers and businesses, not for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Apps built with Nitrakit are responsible for their own users' privacy.
Changes
We'll post changes here with a new date, and email you about material changes if you have an account.
